What To Wear
Pole Classes:

Clothing: Shorts, tank tops, sport bra
Protection: Knee pads, socks
Grip: Dry hands, gripping sprays
When attending pole classes, selecting the right attire is essential for both safety and performance. For pole classes, wearing shorts is mandatory as they allow for better grip on the pole, enabling you to execute various moves more effectively.
Leggings are not recommended for pole classes, they can be worn during flow classes/dance classes.

In terms of tops, a sports bra or tank top is ideal. These options provide the necessary support and allow for a full range of movement, which is crucial for the dynamic nature of pole dancing.
Additionally, if you have delicate knees or plan to engage in floor work or choreography, knee pads are highly recommended. They provide cushioning and protection, ensuring you can focus on your performance without discomfort.
While heels can add flair to your look, they are not a requirement for class. If you don’t have your own, shoes will be available for rental at the studio.
It's important to note that all jewelry must be left at home, as it can scratch and damage the poles. Moreover, for safety reasons, avoid applying lotion on the day of class, as it can create a slippery surface that impedes your grip on the pole.
Lastly, don’t forget to bring a yoga mat if you have one, although Paradise Pole Fitness does provide mats for use during classes.

For those looking to enhance their grip, various pole grip aids can be purchased in studio or online ensuring you’re fully equipped for a successful and enjoyable pole dancing experience.
