COVID Policies
COVID-19 PLEASE NOTE: Although we will be making every effort to
maintain a space that is free of contaminants, the threat of contracting
Covid-19 still exists. All persons entering Paradise Pole Fitness and
participating in the activities we offer should be aware of such risks and
willing to take responsibility for any actions that may arise by attending
those activities.
Facial coverings will still be required. While some other protocols may also be
lifted, we will be keeping most of them in an effort to keep the possibility of
infection and transmission to a minimum. If you have recently attended a class
at Paradise Pole Fitness and find yourself confirmed with a Covid-19 infection,
please contact us immediately so we may contract trace other potentially
infected students and staff.
Q: DO I NEED TO WEAR A MASK WHILE I’M AT PARADISE POLE FITNESS?
A: The Department of Public Health requires that masks be worn at all times
while indoors at a fitness center by any person who is not fully vaccinated. It is
the responsibility of the business to verify who is or is not fully vaccinated.
Because this requirement is impossible to facilitate, consumers at Paradise Pole Fitness will need to continue wearing masks until further notice.
Q: WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A MASK, OR FORGOT MINE AT HOME?
A: You may not enter the building without a mask. The front desk may have
some for sale.
Q: I’VE BEEN VACCINATED. DO I STILL NEED TO WEAR A MASK?
A: Yes. Because we have no method of verifying vaccination status and we
also support your right to keep your personal health status confidential, we
must still require face coverings to be worn at all times by all persons. Your
cooperation will ease the mind of those in class who have yet to receive a
vaccination.
Q: WHAT PRODUCTS ARE YOU USING TO SANITIZE/DISINFECT?
A: All products used at Paradise Pole Fitness for sanitizing and disinfecting
are EPA approved effective against the Covid-19 coronavirus. Our hand
sanitizer is vegan.
Q: LOCAL OFFICIALS HAVE OPENED UP BUSINESSES. THAT MEANS WE’RE
ALL SAFE FROM CONTRACTING THE VIRUS,RIGHT?
A: Wrong! Although businesses are being allowed to advance their reopening
process, this does not indicate that you are any less prone to contracting
Covid-19 or any other contagious infection. Please continue to practice safe
habits, wash hands often, and wear face coverings whenever you are in a
space with others. We hope that we will see case rates continue to decline
while vaccines continue to be administered. Even though we’re getting close,
it’s not over yet. Please be patient and cautious, but enjoy yourselves.
Q: I TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
A: If you’ve taken a class within 14 days of testing positive for Covid-19,
please reach out to us immediately so we may begin contact tracing, testing
and quarantine any others who may have contracted the virus. Follow your
doctor’s instructions and does not return to class until your doctor clears you to
do so.
